Zirojević: Vujović reeducated overnight, the church is stronger than the state

AUTHOR: M.J.

The Minister of Culture and Media, Tamara Vujović, was obviously re-educated overnight, either by the SPC or by her party colleagues, and regarding the rejection of the consent to erect a monument to Amfilohi Radović in Berane, said SD MP and representative of the European Union, Nikola Zirojević.

Thus, according to Zirojević, the minister suddenly changed her position and today, she says, humbly apologizes to the Diocese, stating that she will revise the decision and seek the approval of the Government.

"This is already the second time that Minister Vujović has not consulted with her department - the first time they wrote the media laws to her in the PES club, and she defended them in the Parliament, even though she was declaratively against them, only to have her opinion change now a public scoundrel from the ranks of the church," said Zirojević.

As he added, this behavior of Minister Vujović clearly shows that a religious community is stronger than the state and that, according to its needs, it is re-educating potentially disobedient ministers in the Government.

"I would call on Minister Vujović to resign, but after everything we saw when the IBAR law was passed, it is clear that we cannot expect that level of political responsibility from her.

Therefore, in order not to wait indefinitely for their resignations, it is up to us to change them. That process will begin on September 29 in Podgorica and Kotor, and after the changes that are coming there, it will soon be completed at the state level as well," said Zirojević.
