Albanians and Bosniaks living in Rockford organized a traditional iftar. More than 400 residents of Rockford attended the Iftar, and for the first time this year, Palestinians were also present. At the iftar, the hard-working housewives prepared traditional dishes from Bosnia and Albania. The guests from the Palestinian community expressed satisfaction with the fact that all the Balkan countries support Palestine and its struggle for freedom and express sympathy for the suffering of the Palestinians in the war with Israel.
At the iftar, which was also attended by our editor, it was agreed with the chief imam that in the next few days he would present his view of the situation in Palestine for our portal, as well as the organization of the Muslim community in Rockford and the work of the Islamic Center in that city.
