Marković: When I applied for RTCG, one of the key authorities called me to talk

Director of RTV Nikšić, Nikola Marković, said that a politician once called him when he applied for the director of Radio Television of Montenegro.
He specified that this is one of the politicians who is among the key holders of power today.
Let's remind you, Marković applied for director of RTCG in 2021.
But now, during the "Bukiranje" festival, he announced the details related to that time for the first time.
"One of the people who is now one of the key holders of power in Montenegro called me and said 'Nikola, you have applied to be the director. We have the majority there, it would be good if you come and talk a little about editorial policy and personnel solutions'. I saw it as an insult. If you respect me and my work, it's not about me, but about how the government that came after August 30 perceives the media society and the state were better. In our case, the process is the opposite. The government or the parties control the media, and then the media and the state are getting worse... The new government just took over the bad practices of the former government, only the politicians who control the media have changed... ", said Marković, among other things, as reported by Vijesti.
