Đuričković: It is sad that there are people in Montenegro who help Vučić abuse children, I am afraid that no one will react

SD official Miloš Đuričković for Antenu M, commenting on today's reception of children from Montenegro with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that it was a case of classic abuse. This, he says, does not surprise him from Vučić, but he considers it devastating that the Montenegrin institutions agree to it. He does not believe that the authorities will react, even though they should, first of all the relevant Ministry of Education, but also the entire society.
"It's a sad act, and it's even sadder that there are people in Montenegro who help him in this abuse of children. And this is an abuse because the values ​​that Aleksandar Vučić promotes and sends in this way essentially aim to introduce ethnic groups into elementary schools and among children, to paint them ethnically, to simply ghettoize them, each in his own way. group. The intention to do this even in schools is really monstrous, simply unbelievable,'' said Đuričković.
He adds that, on the one hand, it is not a surprise, because the abuse of children by such and such regimes is not something they are unfamiliar with. He is not surprised that a part of the Montenegrin political spectrum, which also advocates for Vučić's values, agrees to something like this. The problem, he says, is that there are no reactions even from that part of our political scene which, albeit more declaratively, does not share these values, says Đuričković:
"In fact, I also see them as the most responsible and the most invited to react, and yet, on the other hand, I'm afraid that, unfortunately, nothing will come of that reaction. That is why I think that it is necessary for changes to take place in Montenegro as soon as possible, for people who have knowledge and integrity and the will to protect this society from various anomalies, which, again I say, they primarily come from the regime of Aleksandar Vučić,'' said Đuričković.
When it comes to specific responsibility, Đuričković states that the relevant ministry would have to react first.
"As for the reaction, in the specific case the competent Ministry of Education should react, of course. But I expect all those who have a certain weight with their political function and their role in society to react. All of them are invited to react, and I think that in this particular example, we must not be guided by some narrow party interests. We have to save children, as someone who belongs to the generations that grew up during the 90s and had to live in divisions. I think that we all have an obligation, at least for this normal part of the political spectrum, to give those children a chance to be much better than we were,'' said the SD official.
