Four Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes in southern Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced.
The announcement states that three more soldiers were seriously injured, and two were slightly injured, reports Reuters.
The Times of Israel writes that this brings the number of Israelis killed in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and military operations along the border with the Gaza Strip to 348.
Among those killed was Agam Naim (20), the first woman among members of the Israeli armed forces who lost her life in the ground offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
