Đuričković: The amendments are an unprecedented embarrassment, it is clear who Spajić wants to appease

Social Democrat official Miloš Đuričković said after tonight's electronic session of the Government that the amendments to the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica are an unprecedented embarrassment to Montenegro and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

- We would ask Prime Minister Spajić who he needs to appease, but it is clear to everyone. The government and Spajić, with the proposed amendments, manipulate and trade the truth and international reputation of Montenegro in order to appease chauvinist and nationalist currents, i.e. partners - he said.

The amendments, he adds, are also completely meaningless from a technical point of view because they treat topics that are not the subject of this Resolution.

Not to mention that the time for changes to the Resolution has long passed. With this, the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, in front of the entire international community, show their incompetence and/or bad intentions, i.e. their subordination to Vučić. The above confirms that for the Government and Milojko, confirmation of loyalty to genocide deniers is more important than the international reputation of Montenegro. And as soon as the partners "press" him again, Milojko will prepare amendments for the NOB, the flag, the national anthem, citizenship... He will issue and sell everything he told you that he would never issue and sell. The very decision of the Government and the manner in which it was made is another mirror of those people. There is an amendment and then there is no, there is mediation by the US and then there is no, there is no need to discuss it at the session and the decision is made anyway - Đuričković concluded.
