Đuričković: The embassies' answers describe the collapse of Montenegro's international reputation

AUTHOR: M.J.
The responses of the embassies of the United States of America (USA) and Germany regarding mediation in the submission of Montenegro's amendments to the Draft United Nations Resolution on Srebrenica best describe the speed with which the country's international reputation is collapsing, the Social Democrats (SD) assessed.

The American Embassy in Podgorica said that the State Department does not intervene in the submission of the amendment, and the German Embassy said that they have no information about the negotiations on the draft resolution.

International Secretary of the SD Miloš Đuričković said that the statement of the Europe Now Movement, that they are proposing amendments with the mediation of the USA, is not a surprise.

- I am firmly convinced that it is about a brother from my aunt who is on a temporary job in the USA, who offered to mediate during a break between home and work - stated Đuričković.

According to him, today's answers from the embassies of the USA and Germany best describe the "branches on which" Montenegrin diplomacy has fallen.

- And with what speed the international reputation of Montenegro is collapsing - said Đuričković.

He said that this time too, just like in the case of the protest note of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), citizens and the media do not get information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MVP) and the Government, but have to seek answers from the embassies of other countries.

- After months of silence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government regarding the participation of Montenegrin officials in the celebration of the unconstitutional Day of the Republika Srpska, the visit of (Milorad) Dodik and the protest note of BiH, the vote at the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association and the Council of Europe, insults that continue to come from the regime ( Aleksandar) Vučić, the announced amendments represent the greatest diplomatic activity of the 44th Government - said Đuričković.

He said that, unfortunately, the dedication and commitment of the Government and the MFA is a consequence of a subject mentality, not independence in conducting foreign policy.

Đuričković said that the main negotiator of Montenegro with the EU has already abandoned his duties and devoted himself to local elections.

- It would be financially rational if the head of diplomacy, Filip Ivanović, followed the same example, because all decisions regarding the foreign policy of Montenegro are certainly made in Belgrade, possibly some decisions in the parliamentary chapel of duke Mandić - the announcement states.
