Živković and Nikolić in the State Department: DPS sees the USA as an important strategic partner

The Democratic Party of Socialists sees the United States of America as an important strategic partner and is interested in working on a stronger connection with the administration in Washington, it was assessed during the meeting of the president of the DPS, Danijel Živković, and the head of the caucus of that party, Andrije Nikolić, with the director of the State Department for Central and Southern Europe by Colin Hyland.
Živković and Nikolić, during a useful and high-quality exchange of opinions with Hajlandova, emphasized that it is of crucial importance that this cooperation continues to develop and contribute to Montenegro's membership in the EU, as it has contributed to the preservation of Montenegro's stability and its membership in NATO for decades.
At the meeting of the president of the DPS and the head of the parliamentary group with the director of the State Department for Central and Southern Europe, the current political situation in Montenegro, reform processes in the country, challenges on Montenegro's path to the EU and NATO, as well as Russia's political processes in the Western Balkan region.
