1,445 more citizens have the right to vote compared to the first round of presidential elections

543,599 citizens have the right to vote in Montenegro, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the occasion of the decision of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, to call early parliamentary elections for June 11.
The MUP said that the number of voters in the voter list of Montenegro, according to which the previous elections were held on March 19, 2023, was 542,154.
The number of voters in the voter list of Montenegro on March 24, 2023 is 543,599, that is, 1,445 thousand more than in the first round of the presidential elections.
The voter can inspect the voter list in person, at the counters of regional units and branches for administrative affairs, citizenship and foreigners of this Ministry, every working day (from Monday to Friday) from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a valid identity card or travel document. (passport), except in the Regional Unit for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in Podgorica, where inspection of the voter's list can be carried out in the aforementioned manner in the period from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - the MUP announced.
During the direct inspection, the voter can request to change the data entered in the voter's register.
The voter can inspect the voter list directly and via the internet portal www.biraci.me . On that portal, a citizen can check whether he is on the voter list and at which polling station he is voting by entering the number of his identity card or travel document. Considering that the accuracy of the address where a citizen lives is important for the accuracy of the voter list, the portal has left the possibility of submitting an electronic request for a change of address within the municipality where he has registered residence.
Also, a citizen can submit a request for a change of address in person, at the counters of regional units and branches for administrative affairs, citizenship and foreigners of the Ministry of the Interior, in the municipality where he has registered residence - say the MUP.
Voters who have an electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, can view the voter list directly and via the internet portal https://e.servis.mup.gov.me , using the electronic identification certificate embedded in the electronic identity card.
Also, voters, using the electronic identification certificate and the qualified electronic signature certificate that are embedded in the electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, through the portal https://e.servis.mup.gov.me , can electronically perform and change of address within the municipality in which they have registered residence - the announcement emphasizes.
The Ministry notes that in order for a citizen to be able to inspect the voter's list in the manner described, it is necessary to activate the certificate in the electronic identity card beforehand. Instructions on how to activate the certificate can be found on the website https://ca.elk.gov.me .
Montenegrin citizens who have the right to vote are entered in the voter list, and after the decision on calling elections and persons who acquire the right to vote no later than on the day of the election, according to their place of residence.
