The father of one of the beaten Sarajevo boys in Bar, Aldin Kurić, better known as Al Dino, said that the parent of one of the attackers called him and apologized for the incident. As he said, he did not ask to drop the application.
A few days ago, the domestic and regional public was disturbed by the news that in Bar, there was an attack by four minors on two minor athletes from Sarajevo who were there for preparations.
The well-known musician Al Dino talked about the health condition of his son Harun, as well as the other boy who was attacked, Alija, on the show "Novi dan" on N1 television.
My son Harun is fine. The state of shock, trauma, anger, sadness is still going on... I will not separate my son from another boy who was attacked. He thinks that now their young brains need to analyze everything that happened. Also, the other boy is fine now. It turned out better than expected. Now my mind starts making pictures, different scenarios... Every day I feel worse. I start to think, what if this was, and what this... And so in a circle. Although, regardless of everything, we should think that we must be happy that it ended like this, said Al Dino.
From this misfortune, he points out, there is an opportunity for purification.
And we who are victims, but also attackers. And every misfortune has a lesson. Now that I look at this situation like this, I feel guilty. I remember the late Denis Mrnjavac, I didn't react. I saw what happened. It was terrible for me, but I didn't do anything specific with any act. Then, he was recently on Ilidža, also the children are not guilty and obliged. We didn't do anything. When someone has a problem with violent, aggressive children, we say let him solve it. It's okay, if they will be beaten in the family. But their child will beat our children. When we talk about love, forgiveness, we think that these are platitudes. People who know me know that I live it. I never talk platitudes. It's not my child, it's our child. And the parents of the attackers should be helped - said Al Dino.
Among other things, Al Dino revealed whether he had heard from the attacker's parents. He also said that his son reacted to earlier statements in the media.
I said I thought it was harder for those parents. Someone got it wrong. I have to say that I am not relativizing, my child was beaten, my child was hurt. You know, we have those "heroes of Bosnia" from Australia, America as I call them, who often have some comment. Let them come here, and let them think. I just put myself in both situations. My son is angry with me. He told me that I was talking about love, and they beat him up. It still takes time for me to teach him that forgiveness is bitter, but bears sweet fruit. Revenge is sweet, but bears bitter fruit. You have to forgive to move on. The father of the second boy, Alija, said that he had not heard from the attacker's parents. I have to say that yesterday I heard from the parents of two boys, twins. They beat my Harun the most. Harun hit his son in self-defense - said Al Dino.
The famous musician and father of Haruna also revealed the details of the conversation with the father of the attacker.
He called me. We talked for more than an hour. A nice, ordinary, honorable Montenegrin. A man does not know how to apologize. He did not ask us to give up the application. I said I was glad he called. I said that if it was my son, I wouldn't lift a finger, let him feel the gravity of his act. Better that he feel now than when he does something worse. He told me that he was ready to bring them to Sarajevo and to kneel before the boys and beg for forgiveness. Also, he told me that when I told what happened on television, their family cried. We caused catharsis. The man says it's my fault. In the last six months, those guys started hanging out with what was being filmed. He did not react and says that he is the only one to blame - said Al Dino.
Let us remind you that in the attack for which five people, mostly minors, were arrested in Montenegro, Alija suffered serious physical injuries and multiple fractures of the cheekbone. Harun Kurić suffered nose injuries in the attack.
