An organized criminal group from Belgrade with strong branches in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tirana was preparing the assassination of the former president of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, Pobjeda learns.
The Pobjeda source from the very top of the security sector did not want to specify which specific criminal clan was preparing the assassination of the former president.
It is one of the strongest criminal organizations from Belgrade, known for the organization of murders, which has ramified tentacles in all countries of the region, but also in Western Europe and South America. The information about the preparation of the assassination of Đukanović is credible - said a Pobjeda source from the very top of the security sector.
The news that the former president of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, informed the competent Montenegrin authorities that he had received information that an assassination was being prepared against him, was first published by Vijesti.
Pobjeda's sources say that Đukanović informed the security sector and authorities, which in this case could be the Police Directorate, the Prosecutor's Office or the ANB.
The former president received the above-mentioned information from certain international officials from the intelligence community and informed the state authorities with this information - Đukanović's office answered the question of whether anyone from the security sector informed him that his security was at risk, that is, that he is preparing to assassinate him.
A source close to Đukanović told Vijesti that a high-ranking foreign military official from Kosovo informed him that an organized criminal group from a neighboring country was allegedly planning to carry out an assassination, in conjunction with the security services of another neighboring country.
The police administration announced that it was not aware of the information published on the Vijesti portal, which was confirmed by the cabinet of the former president of Montenegro.
