The President of the Municipality of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, greeted the Orthodox New Year with three fingers raised, singing the lyrics of the song "From the head of Zeta to the city of Spuž", which calls for the killing of Turks and glorifies Serbia, and in which part of the text reads "The Turks howl, the bulls cry..." .
The Montenegrin public had the opportunity to see the celebration with this song on several occasions so far.
This song was also sung at gatherings of supporters of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) and pro-Serbian parties.
It was also sung in the parish hall in Spuž after one of the liturgies organized by the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro as a sign of penance for the then-adopted Law on Freedom of Religion.
