Arrested Lazović and Katnić by order of SDT

Former high-ranking police officer Zoran Lazović and former chief special prosecutor Milivoje Katnić were arrested at dawn by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT). Prosecutor Vukas Radonjić confirmed this to Pobjeda.
Lazović and Katnić were arrested by officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) on the order of the SDT, which suspects them of creating a criminal organization and abuse of official position.
On the basis of mutual cooperation and several months of coordinated action of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the Special Police Department and the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Law Enforcement Bodies - EUROPOL, by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the Special Police Department, with the assistance of the Special Purpose Police Sector, deprived M. K. of his freedom. the former chief special prosecutor and Z. L., former assistant director of the Police Directorate, due to the grounds of suspicion that they committed criminal acts of creating a criminal organization and abuse of official position - announced the state prosecutor and SDT spokesman Vukas Radonjić.
Katnić and Lazović, he added, will be brought to the special prosecutor for questioning within the legal term.
"The search of their apartments and other premises in Podgorica, Cetinje, Budva and Bijelo Polje is ongoing, in order to find traces of the criminal act and items that may be useful for the proceedings," Radonjić announced.
