Asking the government to subsidize the tenants

The Montenegrin Subject Association asked the Government to make the decision to subsidize the sub -tenants throughout the country as quickly as possible.

"Due to the sudden lease of apartments, and unstoppable inflation in the country, thousands of sub -party families have found themselves in a hopeless situation, and day by day they face various life problems and challenges," the association states.

These months, the Association is witnessing these problems every day and the real family dramas.

"The state is obliged and must respond urgently and help the tenants who need help now than ever," said the association.

They ask the Government and all relevant state institutions to finally realize that the Socio-Economic Socials are the most vulnerable group of citizens of Montenegro, including pensioners, single parents, people with disabilities, and all other most vulnerable groups of citizens.

“The tenants are the forgotten category of citizens in the country, and accordingly no state aid applies specifically to them, although the opposite should be exactly. The Social Housing Act has not yet been done, although the previous one was valid until 2021, ”the statement said.

The Association of Penitaria from the Government asks to urgently make a decision to assign to the tenants by subsidizing the rent, modeled on the service of the capital, which clearly showed that it can be done if there is a will, as well as the subsidization of electricity consumed.

“Also, we are looking for finally to start making a register of sub -tenants, whose importance and need this association is constantly insisting. We warn that the tenants are growing the problem in the country, due to the lack of social policy of housing or some more acceptable and more receptive project for resolving a housing issue, ”the statement added.

The Association believes that it is time to finally start making a problem with the problem of about 30 thousand sub -family families immediately.
