ATTITUDE: We should not forget the decency

AUTHOR: ČASLAV VUJOTIC, JOURNALIST RTCG
A few days of waiting pass. For society to once again show itself united in the protection of ladies. In vain. In the latest outburst, such criticism would be pointing to a special, we don't know why and from whom, protected. No letters from women's associations yet. Miraculously, they don't care about the public speaker, one of the most honorable public officials, who is fighting lawlessness and injustice alone in the RTCG Council these days. While he suffers mobbing from the one whose mouth is full of democracy and respect for principles.
Yes, mobbing, because Marijana Camović Veličković is at work, on a work assignment. And she was not threatened by anyone in the market, on the street or on the bus. He has been humiliating her for months, precisely at meetings (sessions) where she is at work. She did not walk in uninvited (into a club of like-minded people), but was legally selected to work in the Council of the RTCG, which did not condemn the lack of education of the residents with any decision or warning. The Parliament should even stand behind the offended party. That it is also protected by the Ministry of Culture and Media. Feminists moved somewhere? There is a massive absence of institutional care and female solidarity. Not even the famous "RTCG management" announced. To support the Chief Treasurer, of course. Tajik.
We are free to think: is the majority abstention because the EU did not give a nod or some embassy? Or will whistleblowers on duty not anger the media magician, who was convicted in vain? Because they could be denied a guest appearance? His friendly, his enemies might call him "self-interested", ties with numerous non-governmental organizations seem to be very strong. We understand business partners, and there are plenty of them, it's not their area to complain. And there is still so much to be covered.
Montenegro, as a country of lawyers, can't even "run away". The Ombudsman of Montenegro does not live in this case. Even if in free form a note, review, criticism, advice, column, comment, whatever, was not published by one of the famous intellectuals at the expense of the unmemorable. Where is Montenegro?
We remember the social establishment when Aleksandra Vuković, Draginja Vuksanović Stanković, Vesna Bratić, Suada Zoronjić and Bozena Jelušić were insulted. But they are members of parliament, the government, party soldiers, so it was as if there was (more or less) a competition as to who would be the first to condemn bad behavior towards them. Rightfully so. But it stopped. We Google, and we find that among others the Government, the Minister of Culture and Media, the Women's Club of the Assembly, SNP of Montenegro, URA, Montenegrin Women's Lobby, ANIMA - Center for Women's and Peace Education Kotor, Montenegrin Women's Lobby Podgorica, Center for Women's Rights Podgorica, Safe Women's House Podgorica, Prima Podgorica, SOS Nikšić, League of Voters Nikšić, Bona fide Pljevlja, SPEKTRA Podgorica, and Association of LGBT Women Stan, Media Council for Self-Regulation... Ombudsman, and the Basic State Prosecutor's Office formed a criminal case!
In contrast, only Antena M, CGO and the Union of Free Trade Unions, the Media Union of Montenegro, clearly pointed out that Boris Raonic committed crimes against the fairer sex. Pretty modest, you'll admit. Forgive me if I skipped over anyone, most have gone over the incident. The mystery of silence over the arrogance of an illegal, still intact, director. He is silently observed by the executive and parliamentary authorities, the prosecution organization, powerful accredited foreigners and countless public sector organizations. As if they approve of his misogyny?! Because without it there would be no digitization? Which he constantly brags about, countering negative evaluations.
