Belgrade requests that Joanikije and Metodije "exercise pressure"

Analyst from Belgrade Bojan Panaotović, close to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, called on the leaders of the Church of Serbia in Montenegro, Joaniki Mićović and Metodij Ostojić, to prevent the formation of a PES government with parties from less numerous nations, in an author's text for the Borba portal.

It would be good to hear what Metropolitan Joanikije and Bishop Metodije think about the return of Montenegro to the clutches of the SPC persecutors directed by Spajić - wrote Panaotović.

SPC AS A "PERCUSSION FIST"

With this attitude, Panaotović essentially revealed Belgrade's strategy to prevent the formation of the 44th government according to the plan of Mandate Spajić: to include the top of the Church of Serbia from Montenegro and refer to the SPC litias from 2019 and using the media and political influence to prevent the government from being formed and thus sending the PES leader into political retirement.

In the author's text, Panaotović writes that, "at this moment, we are one step away from the formation of a new government of Montenegro under the baton of Milojko Spajić, which will depend on the parties that have shown in practical politics that they would like the SPC to disappear from the religious and geographical map of Montenegro." Up".

They showed this by voting for the Law on Freedom of Religion, and later by strongly opposing the Basic Treaty. Krivokapić's government, in which Spajić was a key minister, was overthrown, among others, by the votes of BS and Zenka, who considered the enthronement of Metropolitan Joaniki in Cetinje scandalous and unacceptable. Then Ibrahimović and company will overthrow Abazović's government for the unforgivable sin of signing the Fundamental Agreement with the SPC. A year later, political reality is serving us a farce or a tragicomedy directed by Milojko Spajić, where the future government of Montenegro will depend on those who have shown that the SPC is a bone in their throat. Just like the believers who value that church, they believe in it and go to its places of worship. Hence, there won't be any clero-nationalist notes if we hear the first people of the SPC and MCC in Montenegro where this path leads! Not for the sake of politics, but for the basic human, civil and religious rights of the SPC believers who suffered all kinds of harassment and threats until August 30, 2020 - Panaotović essentially explained Belgrade's further strategy.

If Joanikije and Methodije were involved in the process of forming the government, the scenario would be repeated during the formation of the "apostolic" Krivokapić government, which was essentially assembled in the Ostrog Monastery under the patronage of the now deceased Metropolitan Amfilohi. The naming of Bishop Metodije is not accidental since he is related to Mandator Spajić.

Neither did the "action" of analyst Panaotović: Vučić had already learned from his international sources that the key countries of the Quintet, primarily Germany and the USA, were trying to limit the influence of the President of Serbia on the Western Balkans.

Tearing off Vučić's tentacles in Montenegro is part of a wider plan that permanently threatens the position of the president of Serbia. That's why Vučić started to hire heavy "political artillery".

The statement of the Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić showed that they are closely monitoring the behavior of Milojko Spajić and the "position of vulnerable Serbs" in Belgrade.

Asked to comment on the formation of the Government in Montenegro and the fact that Serb representatives will not be part of it, she said that she did not know why Serbs could not be part of the government.

I hope that we will cooperate with that Government, we will do our best, and why the Serbs cannot get or participate in the government in Montenegro, I don't know, but I certainly think that they are an important part of Montenegro - Brnabić told Pobjeda.

RECRUITMENT OF MPS

The meeting of Dejan Vukšić, Jakov Milatović's security adviser, with a number of lower-ranking priests of the Serbian Orthodox Church in order to influence the formation of the 44th government is evidence that the SPC has already interfered in the political situation in Montenegro.

But also the pressures of the priests of the Church of Serbia on the deputy of Novska Lista on the list of PES, Jovan Subotić.

Subotic recently said that the August 30 majority no longer exists, but since it is a believer, it is clear that part of the SPC is counting on convincing Subotic to prevent the formation of a government.

If Subotic canceled his obedience to Spajić, after Vladimir Dobričanin from UCG, Jelena Nedović from Alternative, Jevrosima Pejović and Radinka Ćinćur from PES, he would be already the fifth MP who is against the government, so Spajić would have a hard time reaching the number of 41, because in that case, including Joković's SNP, he would lack one deputy.

However, according to Pobjeda's information, official Belgrade intervened here as well: Joković was already influenced through the SPC, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, to either cancel his obedience or seek a greater share of influence in the government.

Even in PES itself, the situation is not clear. As Pobjeda previously wrote, PES MPs Jevrosima Pejović and Radinka Ćinćur, who voted against the government at the GO session, had consultations with Jakov Milatović before that act, and according to his advice, they were against the government with minorities, and for the government with ZBCG .

Pejović is a close associate of Milatović and was the director of his directorate at the Ministry of Economy during the government of Zdravko Krivokapić.

Ćinćur is privately on friendly terms with Milatović and at his insistence, she was appointed head of the PES bar committee.

The meeting of the PES deputies' club this Sunday will ask for the final views of Pejović and Ćinćur

The meeting of the deputies' club of the Movement "Europe Now" will be held this Sunday without the presence of the media, Pobjeda has learned.

We will meet and ask for the final positions of MPs Pejović and Ćinćur. Everyone has the right to an opinion and we will not "take off our heads", but we are looking for final positions on the government proposed by the mandate holder - said Pobjeda's source from the very top of PES.

According to the PES Statute, MPs are obliged to follow the decisions of the party bodies, so MPs Pejović and Ćinćur must vote in accordance with the conclusions of the Main Board or, otherwise, they may be excluded.
