Bilcik reported Djurovic: POSP canceled due to the adoption of the President Act

Due to the adoption of the President's Law, the Parliamentary Committee on Stabilization and Association of the European Union and Montenegro (POSP) in Strasbur was canceled, the victory learns.

According to the knowledge of the newspaper, Kopress SPP Vladimir Bilčik canceled the arrival of the Montenegrin delegation, which was planned for Soper in an interview with the Assembly President Danijela Djurovic.

We recall that Djurovic was supposed to lead the Montenegrin delegation at POSPU on December 14th and 15th in the European Parliament in Strazbur alongside Vladimir Bilčik, and it was planned for the deputies of the Montenegrin Assembly and the European Parliament to discuss the current state of access to negotiations and relations between European Union and Montenegro, in the presence of representatives of the Government of Montenegro, Czech chairmanship to the Council of the European Union, the European Commission and the European Foreign Affairs Service.

The being of the word and the progress in the area of the rule of law, with a special review of the fight against corruption, the functioning of judiciary and the freedom of the media, the improvement of gender equality and preventing gender -green violence, as well as opposing the hybrid threats and disinformations in the light of aggressor war of Russia against Ukraine earlier from the Montenegrin parliament.

The daily order of the upcoming meeting was also envisaged by the exchange of opinions on the topic of lining the inter -party consensus in terms of accelerating Montenegro on the path of the European Union.

The two -day work of the Common Committee of the Assembly of Montenegro and the European Parliament was to be concluded by the consideration and declaration of the Prophet on the proposal of the Declaration and Recommendations.

The Parliamentary Committee of the European Union and Montenegro for Stabilization and Association (POSP) was educated in June 2010, after the entry into force of the Stabilization and Association Agreement. The Committee consists of the Prophets of the Assembly of Montenegro and the European Parliament, and meets twice a year, alternately in Brussels or Strazbur and Podgorica. POSP considers all aspects of relations between the EU and Montenegro, and in particular the application of an agreement on stabilization and association.
