Bishop Boris: It is not easy to hide anger, but we will respond with love, strength and sacrifice

Believers of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church (CPC) began laying Christmas trees in front of King Nikola's Castle in Podgorica, and CPC bishop Boris Bojović, Bishop of Ostroško-Nikšić, said at the beginning that he would pray for love, prosperity and happiness for everyone living in Montenegro.
He said that these days it is not easy to hide anger and rage because of everything that is happening in our country.
But the very people who planned it want us to be angry and nervous - and we will respond to them with love, strength and sacrifice for the whole society and for our country Montenegro - the bishop pointed out.
He recalled the words of Saint Peter of Cetinje, who said that "all forces are weak and worthless for the one who thinks rightly", and added that it was they who thought and acted rightly.
He thanked those present for gathering in large numbers and conveyed the greetings and blessings of Metropolitan Mihailo of the CPC.
He also referred to the situation in Ukraine.
Tonight I want to mention and pray for the much-suffering Ukraine, which is suffering unjustly just because it loves itself and because it defends itself and freedom - said the bishop.
He pointed out that a lot of homes were destroyed and accidents were made in the 21st century.
We hope that such crimes will never happen again. Glory to Ukraine - concluded the bishop.
Mugoša: We pray to the Almighty to show the powerful a just solution to the Montenegrin church issue
The President of the Committee of the Church Municipality of Podgorica of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, Zoran Mugoša, said that in these days the authorities should understand that only on the foundations of justice and truth can good will reign among people.
We pray to the Most High to reason with the slanderers, who have stolen our sanctuaries in the justice of God and who forcefully prevent us from performing services on our altars, and to show them a reasonable and just solution to the Montenegrin church issue - said Mugoša.
He urged those who decide on it not to build their happiness on lawlessness.
And on the theft of our sanctuaries, the humiliation of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church and the denial of the Montenegrins' right to be their own - added Mugoša.
He said that for the second time, in the last 100 years, the Montenegrin church and people have been crucified on a pillar of suffering and shame.
That's why I call on all Montenegrins and all people of good will to gather around the eternal fire of our holy CPC, which is the sincere protector of the Montenegrin people, and to persevere because God's justice is on our side - underlined Mugoša.
He said that the great support of believers, both in Montenegro and in the diaspora, is the best indicator that the Montenegrin Orthodox Church is on the right path.
Many of you are those who in the 90s did not want to sell themselves to the Judeans of Srebrenica - you have remained persistent in defending the Montenegrin name and surname. That's why I say a big thank you on behalf of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church. Our task is to continue with you to strengthen the activities of the CPC - until the final return of the Montenegrin holy places to the ownership of Montenegro. With the wish that Christmas brings peace, harmony and love to all people on earth, I greet you with the most joyous Christian greeting - Christ is born - concluded Mugoša.
