Borel is explicit: None of the financial support for energy if the blockade of institutions continues

The European Union will not approve a package of financial support for energy to Montenegro if the blockade of institutions continues and the situation does not normalize as soon as possible, said the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU Josep Borelj at a meeting with the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović.
Đukanović, who as the leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is participating in the Congress of the Socialist International, met today in Madrid with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU, Josep Borel.
Đukanović informed the high representative in detail about the current situation in Montenegro and a possible scenario for overcoming the crisis in the functionality of the system's institutions.
High Representative Borel carefully listened to the assessments and arguments presented by President Đukanović and pointed out that a solution must be reached through dialogue and agreement of all political subjects - Đukanović's cabinet announced.
