From November 2014 to July 2018, he was a deputy mayor of the capital, in charge of social activities, after which he was a councilor in the Assembly of the capital in the Assembly. In the entire period of work in the executive city, its work was evaluated very positively and by the opposition.
The function of the Prophet in the Parliament of Montenegro was elected in July 2018. Boris Mugoš is one of the most active deputies, which in
Parliament deals the most socio-economic themes. A large number of its legal proposals and initiatives are unanimously adopted in parliament, regardless of whether they proposed them and initiated them as a deputy most or opposition. He is currently the President of the Assembly Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare and a member of the Board of Gender Equality.
