Bosniak Council: Ružica Church painted with hatred

In the Ružica Orthodox Church in Rožaje, which was completely renovated in 2021, there are frescoes depicting frightening things. The photographs show people in Bosniak and Turkish costumes participating in the burning of the church and standing with knives over the baby's cradle.
On this occasion, they responded from the Bosniak Council of Montenegro and called on citizens to be patient and talk.
The Bosniak council in Montenegro expresses its deep contempt for what the frescoes "painters" painted in the interior of the Ružica church in Rožaje, which was predominantly built by the people of Rožaje - Bosniaks with their donations. Such an act of disrespect for interfaith solidarity and tolerance is impossible to explain in the media, except by saying that we will not allow anyone to spread and fuel hatred in Montenegro through manipulation. - they stated in the announcement.
It is unbelievable that someone, as they pointed out, who should follow God's commandment "Do not bear false witness against your neighbor", can, with a clear conscience and conscience, so rudely and maliciously attack the dignity of his neighbors and the entire nation.
Especially if it is known that "lying means knowingly and willfully stating untruths against anyone, either privately or publicly", and especially not in a place of worship, the Bosniak Council pointed out.
They call on Bosniaks and all citizens in Montenegro to overcome anger over the insult with patience.
And in order to open a dialogue as soon as possible in the conversation with the high representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church and try to remove the heavy stain with human understanding, which unfortunately can generate long-term problems in our common existence. Bosniaks respect others, but also themselves and their charity towards all people, nations and confessions, and we want to build unity in Montenegro on this. - they conclude in the statement.
