CEMI bothered individuals with dishonorable and illegal intentions

The Media Council for Self-Regulation has called on the authorities to find out who is behind the threats to the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), assessing that it is obvious that this non-governmental organization (NGO) has bothered individuals with dishonorable and illegal intentions.
The Media Council strongly condemned the threats directed at CEeMI.
We believe that these are very dangerous intentions, which are taking place in the middle of one of the most important election processes and which aim to obstruct the fair and democratic character of the ongoing elections - it was stated in the press release of the Media Council.
They stated that CeMI, as a respectable NGO, which through multiple election processes gained a reputation as an independent and impartial observer, was clearly a nuisance to individuals with dishonorable and illegal intentions.
The intimidation of the organization that oversees the electoral process and monitors its legality is not very frequent and indicates that the senders of these messages are obviously preparing for the second round of elections with irregular and illegal actions - the announcement states.
The Media Council stated that the threats sent to the competent authorities should be taken seriously.
The Media Council is calling on them to take all actions in order to find out who is behind these dangerous intentions - the announcement concludes.
