Committee clubs of DPS and SDP are asking for the scheduling of the session of SO Kolašin

Half a year after the constitution of the new convocation of the Municipal Assembly, by not acting, the law on the assembly of councilors and representatives is knowingly violated. In this way, the opposition list of the "Together we build Kolašin" movement is prevented from having representatives and a secretary in the Municipal Election Commission as the opposition - it was stated in the announcement of the "Together we build Kolašin" Movement.
They remind that six sessions of the municipal parliament have been held so far, and that a session of the Collegium of the Municipal Assembly has never been held or scheduled. That's why they are asking for a session of the Collegium, where a meeting of the Council of Ministers would be scheduled urgently.
The Municipal Election Commission is appointed by the Municipal Assembly on the proposal of the competent working body for the election and appointed from among the candidates proposed by political parties, i.e. coalition election lists and voter groups that have their own councilors in the Municipal Assembly. We remind the public that the MEC is appointed after the constitution of the newly elected Assembly and for a period of four years. The Committee for Selection and Appointments was obliged to start the procedure for appointing the Municipal Election Commission immediately after the constitution of the Assembly. Especially due to the fact that we had presidential and parliamentary elections on June 11. It is necessary to invite the submitters of electoral lists to submit candidate proposals for the Municipal Electoral Commission. In all other municipalities, in accordance with the law, after holding local elections, new electoral commission, and in Podgorica it will be at the Assembly scheduled for May 11 - it is emphasized in the announcement of the Movement "Together we are building Kolašin".
