"Constitutional judges, what's the trouble?"

SOURCE - POBJEDA
The Liberal Party organized a protest in front of the Constitutional Court building in Podgorica because their earlier initiative on the evaluation of the constitutionality of the addition of Article 9a of the Statute of the Municipality of Nikšić - which introduces the church slava as the Day of the Municipality - remained unanswered.

Those gathered carry banners with messages that read: "Judges of the Constitutional Court are party soldiers", "Anti-constitutional court", "From partitocracy to fascism is just one step", "Constitutional courts, what's the trouble?".
On May 9, 2023, the Vice-President of the Liberal Party and councilor in the Nikšić Municipal Council, Jelena Marković, submitted an initiative for consideration and repeal of that article. A month ago, she requested an emergency on this issue - but to date, she has not received any response from the Constitutional Court.

A protest rally was organized in front of the Constitutional Court on April 16, where it was demanded that they act on this appeal within 10 days.
