Constitutive session of the Assembly tomorrow, election of the president uncertain

Montenegro gets a new parliament tomorrow. In anticipation of the constitutive session, the Assembly's office says that they are ready to welcome a new convocation. The election of the President of the Assembly is also on the agenda. The question is, however, whether it will happen tomorrow. If not, the Assembly explains to the Television of Montenegro that the chairman can take a break, and that there is no legal deadline in which the session would have to be continued.
A month and a half after the election, the new members of the Montenegrin Parliament will sit down tomorrow.
In the new convocation of the Montenegrin Parliament, there will be 81 deputies from nine election lists. Europe will now have the most deputies with 24, followed by the coalition gathered around DPS - 21.
The coalition "For the future of Montenegro" will have 13, Hrabro is counting 11, and the Bosnian break will have six.
SNP-Demos and the Albanian Forum will each have two representatives in the Parliament, and HGI and the Albanian Alliance will each have one.
The General Secretary of the Assembly, Aleksandar Klarić, says that everything is ready for tomorrow's constituent session.
The session will be chaired by the oldest deputy, who will be assisted by the youngest deputy, as well as the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro. There will be four items on the agenda: Report of the State Electoral Commission, election of the President of the Assembly, election of the Vice President of the Assembly, as well as the election of the Administrative Board - says Klarić. .
The oldest MP in the new convocation is Milan Lekić from the "For the Future of Montenegro" coalition, and the youngest is Mirko Đukić from the Europe Now Movement.
The most attention of the public is caused by the point related to the election of the President of the Parliament, and as a potential candidate for that position, only the leader of the Democrats Aleksa Bečić is mentioned for now. The question is, however, whether the head of the Parliament will even be elected at tomorrow's session.
If the president of the Assembly is not elected at tomorrow's session, the chairman gives a break and it lasts until the moment when the political conditions for the election of a new president of the Assembly are created - says Klarić.
In addition to MPs, there will be numerous other dignitaries in the parliamentary benches tomorrow.
The president of the state, Jakov Milatović, as well as other high-ranking officials, representatives of the judiciary, have been invited, so the hall will be full and I expect everything to go as smoothly as possible. There will be many new deputies in the parliamentary benches, while in the new convocation there will not be some that we have been used to for a long time - concludes Klarić.
