Djukanovic at 1 pm on election call

The President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, will be held today at 1 pm conference for the media on the occasion of the announcement of the early parliamentary elections. The conference will, as announced, will be held in Villa Gorica.

Yesterday, Djukanovic brought a decree on the dissolution of the Parliament of Montenegro, based on Article 92point 3 of the Constitution of Montenegro.

As he has previously pointed out, part of the legal team is advised to have the legal requirements to dissolve parliament and announce the elections, if the new government has not been elected within the earlier deadline.

After the dissolution of the Assembly, elections may be held at the earliest for 60, and no later than 100 days, which means that the early parliamentary elections could be held at the end of May or early June.

We remind you, Mandaru Miodrag Lekić cut the deadline for the formation of the 44th government last night. On Sunday, he informed the leaders of the parliamentary majority that there was no needful for the composition of the new government, because he lacks three voices of MPs of the GRĐANSKA URA.
