Djukanovic expects extraordinary parliamentary elections in January

The president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Milo Djukanovic said he believed that immediately after October 23, the Assembly would shorten his mandate and that the extraordinary parliamentary elections would be in January next year.

 

 

Djukanovic said at the Convention in Pljevljen that everything shows that it was time for parliamentary elections.

 

"Time is definitely for early parliamentary elections," Djukanovic said, DPS said.

 

He said it was not a question who was the winner, but at what speed he would succeed in providing the election.

 

Djukanovic said that he wanted to be early parliamentary elections in December, but that, as he said, "they managed to manipulate that Parliament would not shorten his mandate."

 

"But I am completely sure that we are close to the day when Parliament will, I believe it will be soon after October 23, that Parliament will shorten my mandate after which I will schedule in 60 days of parliamentary elections, so we will have parliamentary elections in January, so we will They get a new responsible, competent and good Montenegro dedicated to the Government, "Djukanovic concluded.
