Embassy of the US is launching an Access English language learning program in Podgorica

Ambassador USA in Podgorica Judi Rajzing Rhine and Minister Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, together with the president of the English language teachers, Eltam Dragan Radoman in the early application of State Dipartment's Access English language learning program in Podgorica. This is the seventh time the Embassy is launching an Access program in Montenegro, after successful previous programs in Nikšić (2015-2017), Podgorica (2016-2018), Rožaje (2017 -2019), Nikšić (2019), Cetinje (2020 - 2022), as well as programs in the undergoing pljevlja.

The Access Microscholarship program is an intense two-year English language learning program, as additional classes, for talented students funded by the State Part. The program in Montenegro is implemented by the Association of English Language Teachers of Montenegro Eltam. Twenty students aged 14 to 16 years of high schools from four municipalities, Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Tuzi and Zeta, went through a competitive process to be chosen to participate in the program - the US Embassy.

They also say that over the next two years, they will have the opportunity to improve English knowledge and get acquainted with the values of American culture, democracy and skills necessary for success globally. The goal of the program is to empower young people and encourage diversity and cultural exchange.
