Foreign trade exchange 3.16 billion euros

The total foreign trade of Montenegro in the first nine months, according to Monstat's preliminary data, amounted to 3.16 billion euros, which is 48.2 percent more compared to the same period of the previous year.
Monstat announced that goods worth 520.3 million euros were exported, which is 72.2 percent more compared to the comparative period. Imports were 44.2 percent higher and amounted to 2.64 billion euros, the Montenegrin Public Service announced.
"The coverage of imports by exports amounted to 19.7 percent and is higher compared to the same period last year when it amounted to 16.5 percent," the announcement states.
In the structure of exports, mineral fuels and lubricants are the most represented in the amount of 163.5 million euros, which are electricity in the amount of 134.9 million euros and others.
In the structure of imports, machines and transport devices are the most represented in the amount of EUR 514.7 million, which consists of road vehicles of EUR 159 million, electrical machines, apparatus and devices EUR 102.9 million and others.
The largest foreign trade partners in exports were Switzerland with 104.8 million euros, Serbia with 103.4 million euros and Bosnia and Herzegovina with 69.9 million euros.
The largest foreign trade partners in imports were Serbia with EUR 451 million, China EUR 238.6 million and Greece EUR 221.6 million.
Foreign trade was the largest with the signatories of the Central European Free Trade Area (CEFTA) and with the European Union (EU).
