Germany confirmed that she would send 14 Leopard 2 tanks in Ukraine, after a multi - -sex diplomatic pressure to do so.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the move at the Government session on Wednesday, said Portparol of the Federal Government Steffen Hebestrit.
"The Federal Government has decided to put the Leopard 2 combat tanks at the disposal of the Ukrainian armed forces," Hebestreit said in a statement.
"This is the result of intense consultations held with the nearest German European and international partners. This decision follows our well -known support line as much as we can," he said.
Germany will send Ukraine 14 tanks in recent times, allowing the export of "leopard" from third countries.
