The brothers Luan and Lulsim Hasanaj, as well as their mother, Nura, were sentenced to 40 years in prison for the murder of police officer Milutin Lekovic.
Judge Milena Matovic expressed the verdict today in Podgorica's Higher Court.
According to the indictment, on April 15, 2019, Luan Hasanaj killed a police officer from Milutin Lekovic's duty with a shot from the CZ gun while he was in the Pacia Dacia Daster Police Vehicle in Igal. Officer Alexander Kilibard, in order to deprive him of his life.
The defendants were defended immediately after the murder of Lekovic and hit the vehicle into a concrete fence by the side of the road, they left the car and took the bag from Gepek, after which they were being reached.
