Herceg Novi: Roma girl beaten in high school, father announces lawsuit

A minor girl was beaten yesterday at the "Ivan Goran Kovačić" Secondary Mixed School in Herceg Novi. According to her father, Armen Zećiri, she was beaten by three female peers.
"What is happening in schools is inconvenient, I was speechless today, when I came to school, the principal told me that she was aware of a case where a little girl and my daughter got into a fight. After about 15 minutes, my little girl was caught by those the same girl and her two friends attacked her from behind, started kicking her. She complains a lot about her head hurting, they are filming her," the minor's father told M portal.
As he stated, the director told him that they would only call the parents of the girls who beat his child tomorrow.
"Someone simply has to be accountable, I also told the director, the school does not have guards, janitors, security guards, public police, she told me that the school does not have the money to pay them. I told the director that the children are their responsibility also in the school yard, not only in school. One of the teachers said that I have every right and that she will support me in everything," Zećiri pointed out.
The case was reported to the police, where a report was made.
"After the Health Center, they sent us to the Military Hospital, for filming and further examinations, so we will submit the full medical report to the police. I will hire a private lawyer, sue the school, we will see about the details," says our interlocutor.
As he points out, this is not the first time his little girl has been bullied.
"She complained to us before, but now the violence has escalated. They even told her all sorts of things when I came, that she would not stay at this and that she would only see what awaits her when she returns to school. There were also insults on a national basis , because we are Roma. I conveyed all this to the director, and she said to everything, "Well, what should we do, that's right. We sent them to a psychologist, tomorrow we will call the parents" and so on. The director said that she would give us the camera footage and that she is here for anything she can do to help," says Zećiri.
