Hra: We expect the VDT singing of Kovacevic to evaluate as hate speech and prosecutes

The action for human rights (Hra) expresses great concern about the recent events in Montenegro and the region that encourage national and religious hatred and endanger the savings of citizens.

The singing of the song "Leleča Turks, Kuki Bulls, Oh Lele Lele, here is Vule, and Serdar Janko with Sablj Masha, brewed brothers, Serbianism is ours," by Mayor Niksic Marko Kovacevic at the so -called Serbian New Year, chanting "Kill, Kill Serbs" at a match during the International Tournament in Sarajevo and an attack on parents of young football players from Belgrade by Hooligan in Sarajevo must be publicly convicted and efficiently punished in order to prevent further flare to produce new violence - they pointed out from this non -governmental organization.

The frequency of hate speech, as they evaluated, is extremely concerned and competent to this must be resolutely opposed to the application of law.

We expect from the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica that the singing of the mentioned song is evaluated as hate speech and processes, as well as any similar speech that causes hatred and deepening divisions. OR will ask for information from the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica whether anyone was prosecuted because of hate speech that was heard in Niksic after the rally organized on July 13, 2022, on Statehood Day, when the song "Leleča Turks, Kukai, was also sung. Bule ... ". Police Directorate then announced that five charges were filed against five people regarding incidents in Niksic for other criminal offenses, that in the context of challenging national, racial and religious hatred, notification was collected and that a higher state prosecution in Podgorica was awaited - they emphasized from Human rights actions.
