I hired a lawyer for the Flats case.

The deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Predrag Bošković, announced that he never took anything from the Housing Commission, and that he hired a lawyer after his immunity was lifted due to the "Stanovi" case. In the program "Link", Radio Montenegro, he said that he worked according to the law.

The policy of apartments is not the policy of Predrag Bošković, nor the other 11 suspects, by the outgoing prime minister. This is the policy that has been followed since 1946. I'm sure everything we did was legal. I never took anything from the Housing Commission and of course I hired a lawyer because I don't want to leave anything to chance, we live in a crazy time - said Bošković.

He emphasized that every government has the right to conduct its own policy.

Whether those policies were correct can only be judged by the citizens in the elections. I tried and I am sure that I managed to respect the law as it should have been - said Bošković.

"An opportunity for DPS to show a new face"

Bošković said that the extraordinary parliamentary elections on June 11 will be an opportunity for that party to show its strength and the new face of new people. He also announced in "Link" that the decision to participate in those elections must be made in the next few days.

As he stated, they are talking with political entities, but also citizens, in order to find the best model.

As far as DPS is concerned, anyone who inherits the characteristics of European, Euro-Atlantic, civil, multi-ethnic, anti-fascist Montenegro is welcome. We are also ready to reconsider some of our decisions that did not turn out to be the best, but we believe that some niches can be found in Montenegro where we can agree and more stably and decisively lead Montenegro to the European Union - emphasized Bošković in "Link".

He stated that in 2020, after the parliamentary elections, there was a need to review the path of the party, and that April 2 brought a situation that should determine the future position of the party.

I am sure that the DPS is ready for changes, and the appointment of Danijel Živković as acting director. of the president is an indication that the party is not afraid of radical turns. DPS has understood the message and is going into a more serious transition - said Bošković.

He added that Živković received unquestionable support at all levels of the party.

"I believe that the elections on June 11 will give him additional strength to continue leading the party after the DPS congress at the end of the year. The last two and a half years have shown that even from the opposition position, we knew how to protect national interests, overthrow two governments... "

"The inauguration is an indicator of how they perceive the country"

The DPS MP announced that he was certain that no one would point a finger at Cetinje or send a derogatory comment to the newly elected president Jakov Milatović or anyone who would come to his inauguration.

The decision to hold the inauguration in Podgorica, according to Bošković, is an indicator of how they perceive the country.

They change protocols as they please. They are sending more messages - that Cetinje is not the old capital, but safe

a problematic city, which does not inherit the values of the current government and its president. This is a bad message for those who are in favor of this country being reconciled - concluded the interlocutor of Radio Montenegro.
