In the Assembly on November 22, it will be clear who is in favor of the European path

On November 22, the Assembly of Montenegro will clearly see who is in favor of the European path and who is not - said Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazović at a press conference after the meeting of the President of the Assembly Danijela Đurović with the leaders of the parliamentary parties, where the resolution was discussed political and institutional crisis in Montenegro.
We remind you that after a little less than 20 minutes, the leaders of the Democratic Front Andrija Mandić, Milan Knežević and Nebojša Medojević, the president of United Goran Danilović, the president of Prava Montenegro Marko Milačić and the leader of the Workers' Party Maksim Vučinić left the meeting.
The situation, as he assessed, is not complicated.
The majority of colleagues, as Abazović stated, agree that they will respect the court's decision, which, he points out, they did in the previous period as well.
If the court says that it is not according to the rules, we will accept it, if it says that it is according to the rules - we will accept it. It's very simple - said Abazović, talking about the Law on the President.
According to him, the ball is in the court of those who did not vote for the four candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court the first time.
That is their right, as we may not have voted earlier. We have the opportunity on November 22 to correct ourselves, be wiser and smarter and unblock the Constitutional Court. It is a very simple solution, I don't know if my colleagues will decide on it - said Abazović.
If only there is, as he stated, a little will and wisdom, he thinks they can solve it very elegantly.
And let's not argue politically about whether something is in accordance with the Constitution or not, but don't make this into an emergency situation - said Abazović.
He believes that "when it comes to the president of the state" there is no need to make an emergency situation, when Đukanović's "term of office is certainly expiring".
Montenegro is not in a state of emergency, it is being pushed into destabilization only by political structures that are rapidly losing the support of citizens. We need to solve this situation that we have now in a democratic way. My appeal is, above all to the DPS, to vote for at least one candidate as a judge of the Constitutional Court - said Abazović.
He also stated that he values the partnership with the European Union.
Except for one tweet, which I would consider individual, I have not heard anyone say that (the law) is unconstitutional. Only the Constitutional Court can say that. It is not very correct for someone to enter into the interpretation of the Constitution if he is not competent for it - assessed Abazović.
He claims that he could not conclude what the position of the DPS is regarding the unblocking of the Constitutional Court in the second round of voting for judges, except that, as he stated, they are ready for an agreement that could lead to some kind of compromise.
I'm not a formalist, in terms of whether the President of Montenegro and DPS Milo Đukanović came, but it's a bit strange that you call for a protest, but you don't go to the protest, you call for a dialogue, but you don't come - Abazović pointed out.
