Intellectuals supported Đukanović: For Montenegro in the EU and a return to the path of inter-ethnic and inter-religious harmony

A group of Montenegrin intellectuals sent their support to the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Milo Đukanović, on the eve of the second round of presidential elections, which will be held on April 2.
With the victory of Milo Đukanović, Montenegro would get a chance to return to the path of democracy, inter-ethnic and inter-religious harmony, North Atlantic politics, and become a member of the European Union in the next five years. Such a Montenegro would give a strong impetus to the European integration of the entire region - they pointed out in the announcement.
They note that the second round of presidential elections will permanently determine the future of not only our country, but also the region.
The victory of Jakov Milatović, on the other hand, would enable Moscow's complete control over Montenegro, the imminent "Greek scenario" of economic collapse, and the completion of all the projects of destruction of Montenegrin politics, economy and society carried out by the governments of Zdravko Krivokapić and Dritan Abazović. That victory would mean "goodbye" to the dream of a European Montenegro and drowning in the project of the Serbian-Russian world - they warn.
Also, as they add, the victory of the politics personified by Jakov Milatović would bring in the very near future not only the cancellation of the results of the referendum from 2006, but also the results of the Thirteenth of July Uprising from 1941 - the cancellation of the process of emancipation of Montenegro.
Completely sure that in the upcoming elections the choice is not between two candidates, but between two value systems, between the European future of Montenegro and the ghosts of big states and defeated ideologies, we invite citizens to go to the polls on April 2, vote for Milo Đukanović and defend the future that we voted red on May 21, 2006 - they concluded in the announcement.
