Janović: DPS will not support minority governments and experiments

The result of the "Together" coalition in the parliamentary elections shows that the attrition of the electorate has been stopped, said member of the presidency and deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikola Janović, guest on the program "I know you know" on Gradska RTV.
According to him, a stable government can only be one in which the Democratic Party of Socialists will participate together with coalition partners.
We should be clear here, because in the past few days we could hear various analyzes and forecasts. DPS will not support any experiments, any minority governments, that's it. Either we will be in the government to take responsibility or we will be a constructive opposition - said Janović.
In addition to reforms, as he pointed out, the "galimatias that we have been watching for the last three years" contributed to the result of the parliamentary elections within the parties:
The European path and the civic values of Montenegro collapsed, every day we had an affair. Everything that those who are in power today were supposedly fighting against, they themselves did much worse and more brutally - stated Janović.
He adds that the dissatisfaction of the political competition is obvious, because they did not achieve as much as they expected in the elections.
The results do not correspond to those who thought that they would have the main say in Montenegro. The citizens sent a clear message that we should reduce the experience, that we should talk, negotiate, that we should work in the interests of the citizens - he said.
He believes that abstention in elections is, above all, an expression of citizens' dissatisfaction with those who exercise power.
Montenegro's European path has been stopped, that's all they managed to do in the past three years. They showed that they are incapable of agreeing on anything - pointed out Janović.
He emphasizes that the message that "it will not work with DPS", which can be heard from a number of political actors, shows political immaturity.
It is politically unwise. How do they think they are functioning if they disqualify an option supported by so many citizens? Obviously, everything they say is declarative. They are talking about reconciliation, but they will not respect a party that is civil in every sense - said the DPS deputy.
He warns that the announcements of the leader of the Europe Now Movement (PES) Milojko Spajić about a possible coalition with the list "For the Future of Montenegro" do not promise a stable government.
On the contrary, that coalition can only create a government that steadily leads to further stumbling of Montenegro, moving away from the EU and its values - concluded Janović.
