Kovačević threatened: We will treat those who are not our brothers like the Turks

AUTHOR: M.J.
Marko Kovačević, the president of the municipality of Nikšić, "threatened" those who will not live as brothers (with him and others like him) that he will treat them like Turks.

In his speech, on the occasion of the 166th anniversary of the Battle of Grahovac, he said that "we will be patient and wait with open hearts and hands with the question of whether we are brothers, and that, if that does not happen, we will deal with them in the future as with the Turks."

-Today teaches us to tie everything we do to heaven. And last year, someone asked these former rulers and their followers, what does Spasovdan have to do with the Battle of Grahovačka. Well, you can imagine how much they have to do with the people who defeated the Turks in the Battle of Grahova on the Day of the Savior. This should be in front of your eyes, that they are uncalled for and that the path to the truth is not open to them and that they then look more like foreigners than themselves - Kovačević began his speech, and then referring to Njegoš he continued:

-What Njegoš was saying: They trapped themselves in a foreign country. And we will work to ensure that they also remember our old glory of our ancestors, to offer the moltiva together with us to God, as we offered it and as the Christian warriors of the Serbian army, Montenegrins and Herzegovina offered it 166 summers ago in this place . We will be patient, we will wait, always with an open heart and open hands, asking if we are brothers. If someone doesn't want us to be brothers, and if they want to look more like Turks, then in the future, by God, we will treat them like Turks - threatened Kovačević morbidly.

At Grahovac near Nikšić, Kovačević, together with the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church, marked Ascension Day (Savior's Day) and 166 years since the Battle of Grahovac. The organizers were the Diocese of Budimljansko-Niššić, the Parish of Grahovska and the local association "Stara Herzegovina.

Russian Ambassador to Montenegro Vladislav Maslenikov, State Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Innovation Dragan Bojović, representatives of several Herzegovinian and Montenegrin municipalities were also present.

On behalf of the Municipality of Nikšić, the presidents of the Municipality and the Municipal Assembly, Marko Kovačević and Nemanja Vuković, attended the celebration, and on behalf of the Municipality of Plužine, President Slobodan Delić.
