Mandić at the head of the Assembly, Popović and Pejović vice presidents

Mandić was elected as the President of the Assembly
Chairman Milan Lekić announced that 49 ballots were handed in and the same number of votes for the proposal that Andrija Mandić be the president of the Montenegrin parliament.
There were no votes against, he says.
I note that the proposal was adopted and Andrija Mandić was elected as the president of the SK Assembly - announced chairman Milan Lekić.
Mandić: Census on November 30
Our majority made a decision on the census.
It will start on November 30, and in the following days all additional protection measures will be provided to ensure that every citizen can have a personal insight into Monstat's data related to him - announced Mandić.
Mandic took the oath.
Not taking into account that I have the most parliamentary experience, I believe that I am obliged to look at our political misunderstandings and views on the future of this country from a different point of view than the one that is somehow uniformly packaged in our everyday political life. Our political life must strive for justice and truth and give up the current practice in which everything is allowed if it brings some benefit. Ladies and gentlemen, we all need to do good deeds and not just utter empty and deceptive phrases. Therefore, I want to say a few words as a man of the people. I want to say that today, after so many years of being involved in politics, what I sincerely believe and what I want to serve from this high place is only one thing: reconciliation and only reconciliation. It is extremely important because we see that the world and all of humanity is on the verge of a major armed conflict, and that is precisely why we have to be united, reconciled and agree - he said.
For a long time, he says, he learned from his own experience that the path to success never leads to just one path.
And that I was most often wrong when I believed that only I was right. It is dangerous to listen only to yourself, because then you know that you are turning a deaf ear to other voices and thoughts. So let's open ourselves to others to understand us and listen to others to understand their needs and desires. In this way, the maturity of Montenegro will be best demonstrated, and not according to the principle of who is the majority and who is the minority. This is exactly why, before making any decision, you should hear everything and choose the best and most achievable. We have to learn that everything in life is transitory, that some have been at the top for a long time, that others have arrived, and others are waiting to get there. All this is democracy that is in the interest of the people and that is there to show that no one is more important than the people and their country, which does not live to depose someone, but to choose the one who will be better and serve its interests. That's why we need a clear dialogue - that it ends with an agreement and not divisions. The time has come for only the people to choose and select those they trust. In order to be able to achieve that, we have to start trusting each other - said Mandić.
He pointed out that research shows that citizens trust politicians the least.
These surveys also confirm that citizens do not trust anyone. That's why today I really want to open up that problem and ask a question to every citizen of Montenegro: Why have we lost faith in each other? When did that happen? Faith in another man regardless of his occupation has been lost, even within many families that used to be the highest sanctity, trust in each other has been lost. That is the second thing that I want to emphasize and advocate strongly: to start the process of restoring trust in people and not to live on the suspicion and alleged guilt of others. Only the one who accepts that he is not sinless will forgive the mistake of another. There are no sinless people and it is not cowardice to forgive one's neighbor. It is courage greater than other courage. Selfishness, greed and crime as a logical continuation of such a wrongly imposed system have dragged this country backwards for a long time - and only faith, reconciliation, honesty, harmony and justice can take it forward. The one who is in favor of reconciliation and harmony wants to hear the other - said Mandić.

The President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić invited the presidents of the parliamentary clubs to the collegium in 15 minutes.
It is expected that the collegium will agree to work on the new session at which the government will be elected.
