On Easter, May 5, Serbian Metropolitan Joanikije served the liturgy in the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica.
In addition to a large number of believers of the Church of Serbia, the liturgy was also attended by the state leadership of Montenegro - President Jakov Milatović and his family, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Minister of Foreign Affairs Filip Ivanović.
Russian ambassador Vladislav Maslenikov accompanied the liturgy in the Podgorica church.
