Milosevic's detention for up to 72 hours

The former director of the Revenue and Customs Administration, Rad Milošević, was detained for up to 72 hours. He was questioned today in the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), and tomorrow he will be brought before the investigating judge.
Milošević's lawyer, Vladan Bojić, said that he will not appeal against the prosecutor's detention, but that he will if it is extended tomorrow.
Earlier today, reconnaissance operations and searches of facilities used by Milošević were carried out.
We remind you that the officers of the Special Police Department arrested Milošević yesterday, due to suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization.
"On the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), the Special Police Department arrested the former director of the Revenue and Customs Administration, on grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization," State Prosecutor and SDT spokesman Vukas Radonjić told the MINA agency.
In October, Milošević resigned as UPC director, a few days after he was questioned as a citizen as part of an investigation into cigarette smuggling.
Let us remind you that Milošević was also arrested at the beginning of October during the action of the Special Prosecutor's Office to stop the smuggling of cigarettes.
As previously announced, smuggling was carried out during the destruction of cigarettes in Nikšić.
Apart from Milošević, several other people were arrested at that time. They were charged with creating a criminal organization, abuse of official position and cigarette smuggling.
According to suspicions, Milošević was part of a cigarette smuggling chain that was seized this summer and was supposed to be destroyed. He was then released after a hearing.
