Ministry of Interior: Appeal for careful driving with winter tires due to the predicted bad weather

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) warns drivers that due to announcements by the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology about unfavorable weather and meteorological conditions in the coming days, they should be especially careful and respect the obligation to use winter tires.
We draw the attention of drivers to the fact that the announced meteorological situation can lead to difficult traffic flow, reduced visibility, but also stoppages, landslides and emergency interruptions in traffic, and an increased number of traffic accidents. Also, we remind drivers of the mandatory use of winter tires on vehicles that participate in traffic on a road where there is snow, ice or ice, or which is covered by the Order, the application of which began on November 15 - the announcement states.
The Ministry of Interior appeals to drivers to contribute to their own safety and that of other road users by patient driving, adapted to the weather and road conditions.
