We remind you that a team of firefighters and rescuers from several Montenegrin municipalities will travel to Turkey to provide assistance after the devastating earthquake that hit that country. The Government announced yesterday that they formed a team of 23 rescuers.
We remind you that the death toll in the devastating earthquakes of magnitude 7.8 and 7.7 that hit southeastern Turkey, near the city of Gaziantep, and the northern part of Syria exceeded 5,000.
The earthquakes left behind thousands of injured people, and entire blocks of flats were razed to the ground in the earthquakes.
At least 8,000 people were rescued from the rubble in Turkey, officials there said.
