The two-and-a-half-year political agony had to come to an end, said Social Democrat (SD) MP Boris Mugoša, commenting on the decision of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, to issue a decree on the dissolution of the Assembly.
In the announcement of Đukanović's cabinet, it is stated that the decree was passed on the basis of Article 92, Clause 3 of the Constitution of Montenegro.
When the Constitutional Court was finally unblocked about 20 days ago, I pointed out that all the conditions had been met to call extraordinary parliamentary elections soon as the only viable attempt to get out of the deep crisis. Two and a half years of political agony had to come to an end... (I hope) - said Mugoša on Twitter.
