The citizens of Podgorica sent off the pastry shop "Korzo" with applause today, which has been closed since Monday.
About twenty of them gathered in front of the famous pastry shop, which, after 70 years, is closing its doors.
The owner of the pastry shop Nail Nako Ali addressed the attendees.
Many thanks to you, fellow citizens, friends, neighbors and comrades who supported us from the beginning to last as long as we did. They would have lasted longer, but due to circumstances, we couldn't. The young generation left, who wanted to continue where we left off, and that's why the day has come to close. We are very sorry, we are full of emotions, fulfilled because we lived with people who accepted us as their own - said Ali.
He thanked Podgorica in his own name and on behalf of his colleagues.
