NGO Juventas: No citizen should be intimidated

The non-governmental organization (NGO) Juventas condemned tonight's incident before the start of the match in Podgorica, when the fans of Sutjeska chanted "Knife, wire, Podgorica", and called on the competent authorities to take urgent measures with the aim of prosecuting all those who spread hatred and intolerance among citizens. and promote hatred.
We are disturbed and horrified by tonight's events and request the competent authorities to take measures, especially bearing in mind that there are videos that can be used to identify the participants in this incident. No citizen of Podgorica should be intimidated in this way, and we consider such phenomena extremely dangerous for society as a whole - said the NGO Juventas.
In addition to the urgent reaction of the competent authorities, they also call on all representatives of state institutions, as well as political forces competing for votes in the upcoming elections, to condemn the retrograde behavior of fans from Nikšić who propagate this way of thinking.
In order to send a clear message to everyone that such incidents have no place in civil and democratic Montenegro - the NGO Juventas concluded.
