Organize a meeting of party presidents again

The President of the Assembly, Danijela Đurović, said that she expects the Constitutional Court to be unblocked at the session on November 22.
Đurović, after the meeting of representatives of the parliamentary majority, said that she considers the biggest achievement to be the fact that all parties were ready to come and discuss issues that burden society.
She mentioned that in July she convened a meeting of the president of the party, where the president and vice-presidents were present, and that it was not a problem then that some leaders were not there.
"This is the first of the meetings that will be convened again at the level of the president, and as colleagues will respond, it will be an expression of their will," said Đurović.
She said that she was glad that today she had the opportunity to hear all the representatives and to consider whether or not there is room for a compromise.
"It is important that we defined the topics of the political dialogue. This summer, too, the focus was on the Constitutional Court and the reform of the electoral legislation," said Đurović.
She said that the relevant views are that the focus of the political dialogue should be the issue of the Constitutional Court, and that all others must be the product of deeper consideration and political agreement.
"I consider it expedient that this issue be resolved on November 22," said Đurović.
She pointed out that one of the topics was the question of whether we are ready to find a way to get a political or possibly transitional government, or an agreement about the date of the parliamentary elections.
"It's time to become aware of our role. I expect the Constitutional Court to be unblocked on November 22," Đurović pointed out.
When asked if the withdrawal of the Law on the President was considered, she replied that there were no direct statements regarding anyone's request.
"Everyone stuck to their positions, but I see that there is a willingness to talk. I expect that we will come to concrete solutions at the next meeting," Đurović concluded.
