Petrović: There is no end to the stagnation in the Montenegrin parliament

In the Montenegrin parliament today, an ode of support for crime and criminals was played without any respect for the victims and their families. Everyone who created a "cultural performance" on the day of the sad anniversary and supported it by remaining silent means that the Štrpci 671 death train continues to travel and that different names can be the target of those faithful admirers of the ideology of "blood and soil" and their creators, war criminals - she pointed out activist and feminist of the women's peace movement Aida Petrović.
We remind you that the Parliament of Montenegro voted today on candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court. After the agenda was adopted, and after the MPs honored the victims in Štrpci with a minute of silence, a mini-concert by the Symphony Orchestra began in the Assembly.
She assessed that "there is no end to the stagnation in the Montenegrin parliament".
On the day and anniversary when innocent people had to get off train 671 and when Štrpci station became their last life stop, on the day of remembrance that 30 years ago there was an important name, vital in this crime, on the day when a true tribute is paid innocent victims and cherishes with respect and in silence the culture of memory in the Montenegrin parliament, they hypocritically and with false empathy honor the victims of the death train by mocking and organizing a mini-concert - said Petrović and added "what a shame, inhumanity and sin of those deputies who designed and supported today's so-called cultural performance".
He adds that "representatives of the people" pay "a supposed tribute to the victims in Štrpci", and then in the plenary hall of the parliament they allow "an already planned concert to be held".
You spread culture and reconciliation by rejoicing over the innocent victims, by playing music on the day of remembrance of a monstrous crime when the "wrong" name meant certain death. Wretches are all of you who supported this today, trampling over dead people whose graves are unknown with serious or any music. Out of 365 days, you have found today to be the day for assembly music and cultural uplifting - said Petrović.
And now, according to her words, "as a citizen with a 'wrong' name, she should" believe in their, as she said, "true intentions", and not obvious intrigues, mockery, untruths and mockery hidden from the public eye towards those who " they smell of tallow because they are members of a non-existent religion'".
Do you have a culture of respect and remembrance for the families of the victims, for their lifelong pain, for living wounds that have never healed - Petrović asked.
