The head of the SD Parliament and Vice President Boris Mugoša stated that he would suggest that in 2024, the amount of material protection of the family and that the users of the so-called Sharing pensions cannot have a lower pension than the minimum intended to be 450 euros from 1 January.

He pointed that the Parliament of Montenegro adopted a conclusion by the end of last year to indebse the government of material security, as they are legally defined as the poorest category, and the amount of MOP has not been increased, although they are The costs of life suffered drastically in that period.

"Unfortunately, that my proposal adopted by the Assembly was not realized in 2023, but I will ask that in 2024, he finally realized," Mugoša pointed out.

According to the statement, it is necessary to correct the amount of other care and assistance, which is at an extremely low level, but with a previously done detailed analysis, which is why the number of beneficiaries of the specified material giving increased drastically in the last year.

Mugosa states that he will suggest that another category of citizens who receive extremely low pensions, and these are the users of the so-called proportionate pensions cannot have a lower pension than minimum.

"I also advocate such a proposal for a longer period of time and expect and will be accepted and implemented in 2024," said the Vice President of SD.

Mugoša concludes that even in the proposal of the said parliamentary conclusion, which was adopted asked the necessary funds to be provided from the budgetary reserves and through the rationalization of certain unproductive budget expenditures, which was then accepted.
