Raičević hosted a delegation of the US Navy

The President of Bar Municipality, Dušan Raičević, received a delegation of the United States Navy (USA), which is staying in Bar on the occasion of the arrival of the allied ship "USS Ramage" in the port of Bar, where it was anchored for several days.
On this occasion, Raičević met with the ship's commander, frigate captain Timothy Yuhas and the military attaché of the US Embassy in Montenegro, Lt. Col. Allan Gryskewicz, and the reception was attended by the vice-president of the Municipality of Bar, Tanja Spičanović, and the president of the Municipal Assembly, Branislav Nenezić.
The President of the Municipality welcomed the guests and the ship's crew, expressing the hope that they will feel comfortable in Bar, presenting them with the cultural and historical heritage, touristic, economic and other potentials of the city. He said that, during the previous period, it was Bar that hosted many allied ships, which is a confirmation of the commitment of the NATO alliance to a common goal and to strengthening cooperation among members, all with the intention of creating a safer environment.
In this context, Raičević once again affirmed the importance of the presence of allied navies in the Bar water area, which contribute to the sense of security of all citizens of Bar, as well as numerous refugees who have found refuge in this city.
Special thanks to the American sailors from the ship "USS Ramage" were expressed on the occasion of their selfless involvement in the activities of planting lavender seedlings in 13. Jula Street, which they realized in cooperation with the municipal company "Communal Activities", which undoubtedly added value to the city's ambience.
The guests expressed their enthusiasm for the city and the hospitality of the local population, as well as their satisfaction with the conditions in the Bar water area, and said that they hope that they will have the opportunity to visit Bar again and thus strengthen cooperation, both with the local administration and with the Navy of the Black Sea.
